Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competes within the UFC flyweight division. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sports journey with an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and beat Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimity. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal gold in the year 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional career at the age of 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012, The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002 when she fought Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She made her comeback against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4.
