Andressa Urach

At just 15 years old, Andressa Urach began a love affair with Tiago Costa. After dating for three months and then moving into his house. Arthur Urach Costa is the only child born to this couple. Arthur was born on the 19th of May 2004. Andressa Urach was then sent to stay with her son at her mother's house. She lost her job after 6 months and decided to move the son of hers to Sao Paulo to seek a new start in life. But, since she was a shrewd and driven, her first goal in making the move towards Sao Paulo was to be successful and well-known. Andressa Urach writes in her memoir Morri Para Viver about the sexual abuse she suffered by her foster father that occurred between the ages of two and eight. Andressa only managed to escape all of this abuse because Andressa's foster grandmother caught her in the act. Andressa went back to stay at home with her mom and didn't realize that Andressa was a victim of abuse until she published her book. She said that before she went through a spiritual change, it was difficult for her to forgive her victim. When I was faced with one of my most difficult choices, I contacted that person I had assaulted me sexually. It wasn't an easy decision. After much prayer vows and fasting, I told my husband on the phone that I was sorry for him and while I didn't feel guiltless, I asked to forgive him. In no way did I justify my actions, I simply asked forgiveness. Mariste Urach explains in an interview with Globo, how she felt after learning of the abuse her daughter had suffered. The woman traveled to the town in which the pedophile is a resident within the inner reaches of Rio Grande do Sul willing to take revenge on him.
